	2013 Gage Conference on Ion Channels and Transporters We would like to invite you to participate in the 2013 Gage Conference on Ion Channels and Transporters, to be held from April 17-19th at Canberra Boys Grammar School. The Gage conferences are named in honour of the late Professor Peter Gage and aim to re-establish an earlier series of Curtin Conferences organised by Professor Gage. The major objective of the meetings will be to bring together the local community of researchers with interests in Ion Channels and Transporters, from a variety of perspectives, in a relaxed low-key environment that encourages interaction and discussion. Similar to the US Gordon Conferences the meeting will be based on a live-in eat-in format, maximising opportunities for interaction whilst making the meeting economical for participants. Also similar to the Gordon Conferences, abstracts will be not be published in any form. We are particularly keen to encourage participation by students and early-career researchers and provide an opportunity for them to present their work. Student registration is at a reduced price and travel grants are available for members of AuPS or ASB. There are also prizes for student oral and poster presentations.
