30th Annual Scientific Meeting, ASB2006

The Australian Society for Biophysics held its annual meeting later than usual in December, 2006. The meeting took place at the University of Sydney from Monday the 11th December to Wednesday the 13th December 2006 and was held in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.

The Robertson Medalist for 2007 was Peter Barry.
The Young Biophysicist Award for 2006 went to Catherine Clarke.
The Student Awards went to Cecily Oakley and James Cooke.

It was the Australian Society for Biophysics' 30th birthday. We were lucky enough to have 3 of our founding members there, along with our Presdient to blow out the candles:
